The Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost provides leadership for advancing the teaching, research, and service missions of the University of Oklahoma Health Campus through its seven colleges and centers of excellence, including the OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center and the OU Health Harold Hamm Diabetes Center at the University of Oklahoma. It also serves as the administrative connection and collaborative facilitator with the University's health system partner, OU Health, and is responsible for ensuring that the Health Campus’s academic programs, research endeavors, and fiscal operations at all sites are coordinated and aligned with the broader vision of the University.
The Provost's Office is the central administrative hub for academic and operational functions of the OU Health Campus and its programs across multiple sites. Serving as the chief executive officer for the Health Campus , the Senior Vice President and Provost works closely with the President of the University; college deans and campus leadership; faculty, staff, and students; our hospital partner OU Health; and external stakeholders to drive the campus and University missions and strategic goals.
In collaboration with the OU Health Campus Deans' Council and the Leadership Committee, the Provost's Office leads a forward-thinking approach to higher education, emphasizing academic excellence and rigor, commitment to innovative research and patient care, interprofessional opportunities, operational efficiency, and the continuous improvement of the Health Campus and its communities.
